As I will be leaving Elysium, someone else will need to reincarnate this thread, and assume this silly role.  PM me if you decide to do this and need help recreating the links.

 

Let's get this server off to a minimum-bullshit start.  This is a thread dedicated to consolidating reports of grievous ninja looting and exceptionally disruptive, non-hilarious same-faction griefing.  The GMs don't handle things that the community can take care of.

If you know a dirtbag who deserves a spot in this server's hall of shame, you'll need to provide damning evidence of wrong-doing.  That includes:

• Visual evidence, including but not limited to screenshots or videos of the deed
• Testimonials from fellow victims
• Chat logs to provide context that shows the incident to be a deed most foul

You really need all three of these things to build a decent case.  A screenshot of somebody looting something doesn't tell a complete story.  Similarly, three people claiming something with no material evidence is unacceptably weak.  You're not trying to convince me. I'm not important.  You're trying to convince the community at large - anyone who reads this thread, really.

For those of you new to the community policing game, here's some things to keep in mind:

• Guild business is resolved by guilds.  If you were invited to sub for MC and they decided you didn't deserve anything, too bad
• Similarly, when it comes to fighting over world bosses, anything goes
• Anything horrible the opposing faction is allowed to do to you under the rules of the server is both LEGIT and GOOD
• Anything horrible your own faction does to you that is particularly hilarious or original might just be recognized as WONDERFUL

If people decide they want to make use of me in this fashion, I'll keep an eye on the thread, the conclusions people come to in it, and maintain a list of community-recognized crooks at the top.  If you think I'm not up to the task, feel free to do better!

 

THE BLACKLIST IS AS FOLLOWS:

Beerwizzard - BoE Need seller.  (He's a mage.)  Rolled need on stockade pauldrons in LBRS in front of hungry tanks desperate to equip it.  Proceeded to taunt everyone about this afterwards. 

Qhole - BoP Need Abuser  Mage needs a Dragon's Call and wins. The drop rate on that thing is like 0.0001%, and it has one of the coolest on-hit effects in the game.

Ratstick - BoE Need seller  Rolls need on BoE blues to sell over people who want to use the item.  Says flat out that he'll do this for epics, too.

Vicy - Ninja Looter.  Clear and visible screenshot evidence of switching to masterlooter to take Thermaplugg's drops.  Gnomeregan is serious busines

Ascension - BoP Need Abuser  Rogue, jacked some nice not-rogue BoP's from SM.  The vendor loved them, but now the server doesn't love him.

Twessel - Ninja Looter  Switched to master loot for Mr. Smite, attempted to cover this change with chat spam.  Wow! Deadmines!  This is an important entry.

Cassefoufoun - Ninja Looter Return of deadmines!  Switched to Master Looter to jack a lavishly jeweled ring.

Ertai - Ninja Looter Switched to master looter to hog the loot from SM Library.  His desired drop didn't even appear, but he still jacked the goods.

Toko - Ninja Looter  Exploited FFA loot from The God Hakkar event in ST to snag one of the drops, against the wishes of their group.

Disabled - BoP Need Abuser  Angered by a fury warrior winning +40 AP +12 stam leather boots, Disabled retaliates by needing plate gloves. Your role dictates your loot just as much as your class does, bro.

Stance - BoP Need Abuser  Needs a Blazing Emblem, refuses to equip it, claiming he's going to give it to his bro. Then claims that he's not sure if he wants to use it or not.  Then says he hates the guild of the person who he won it from, as if that was justification. Then privately admits he'd steal a Shadowfang from a rogue by needing it from them to sell.

I would like to report the first exceptionally disruptive bastard on these threads.

Name: Cybaster

This asshole has commited many attrocities and I have kept a log of his actions throughout so we may finally get rid of him.

It all started when he started showing up to the doctors. Chatting shit about his "pains". Turns out he is a junkie and gets a kick out of the meds.

That is not the worst of it. He deceives lesser people of lesser inteligence into backyards, where he and his teammates end up mugging them. Stripping them of all thier valuables and sometimes even their organs to sell. He then uses these funds to buy more drugs.

He is a total looser and if it wasn't for his mom protecting his ass through giving "favours" to the cops his ass would be behind bars already. Actual video footage of Cybaster being a dick.

With all this proof can we please just blacklist him. Get him off our forum and may gank squads have a field day on him.

You would have to download the script though and type the full name of who you want to check.

Do what I do. Download Opium add-on, keep notes about your disagreements to yourself, and when you hit 60: don't group with the person and let them know why.

What i do is, i keep a .txt file of people who are polite, nice, and well mannered. 

If i ever get that chance i screw them over with ninjas and just gatekeeping from groups.  I go out of my way to make others hate them who don't even know them.  I actually spread fake information about them to make others hate them.

You probably wonder why?  I'm just a toxic player.

It has (not unexpectedly) completely failed in it stated purpose for reasons you have succinctly noted, but it is definitely succeeding in its unspoken purposes, which is to provide amusement and joy.
