Where is the server for employed people?

Recommended Posts

There are other servers out there.

WoW-Mania is easy to get onto, though I haven't been on it in a long time because I quit due to class-breaking bugs; warrior charging through the world and dying off the map, for example.

Firestorm was okay, but I didn't personally like the staff; I found them simultaneously ignorant and arrogant--not taking seriously complaints that their mechanics calculations were flawed.

Every private server is going to have its issues. You just have to find the one you can tolerate.

(Sorry to double post, but there doesn't seem to be an edit function for some reason.)

One thing they could do is to have is a fresh PvE server that doesn't allow transfer of Nostalrius accounts since Elysium PvE already accommodates these people. This fresh server would probably have a smaller population, but would carry the benefit of a shorter (or possibly non-existent) queue.

I don't know the financial or technical issues involved with something like this, so this is just a suggestion, not a demand. It would just be nice.

Give it a week and the que will drop to a reasonable amount of time, it's already gotten much better than it was a few days ago.  couple days ago I was seeing 14k+ yesterday I saw 7k and 1k......7k is still high but it's getting there

Why don't you play on Nostalrius PVP or Nostalrius PVE if the queue bothers you. They work fine and although they do have a lot of 60s, not everyone is and there's still plenty of people levelling.

Dudes thats why wow turned into casual shit, because employed people whined. Vanilla is not for employed people, don't use that argument.

As some people have said previously, there is 2 other realms you can play on. PvE server was only out for 4 months before the shutdown so it is fairly new and alot of the people on the server are on the leveling stage. People are quite demanding when there is already 3(!) servers up and 2 of them dont have the queues atm.

Came Home from work yesterday at 16:30, put myself into Queue at 5k, went to the Gym. As i checked with Teamviewer i was in char select at 17:45 and thus already DCd when i came home x)

I put myself into Queue again, cooked food, ate and drank a beer with my roommate. Then i would've been in at around 19:00, giving me around 5 hours of gameplay.

Yesterday the Servers went up and down so it was different, quick fingers and good ping leads to an instant Game.

If you need help setting your Time Schedule for the day up, feel free to hit me up.

Well, it's not wrong unfortunately.

For me personally: I come home around 7pm. So far, I'm usually facing queues of roughly 10k when back from work, which takes around 5 hours or so (assuming no disconnects or anything else). So when I log on the very second I come back from work, I could effectively start playing at midnight - which of course isn't really realistic seeing the alarm clock is ringing at 6:15am again.

Bottom line, with current queues I'm not really able to get a single moment of playtime on weekdays, unless I'm super lucky and just catch a server restart or something.

This makes Nost/Elyisum's current numbers even more impressive, given likely most "normal" people can't really play at all.

I do expect numbers will drop a fair bit after the initial rush - I think it would be best to open up a second server, but wich a shared name database (e.g. server 2 can't have any player names that are already taken on server 1, and vice versa).
This would spread out current demand so much better, and when & if numbers drop, you could fairly easily merge the two.

Get teamviewer, from work login to your home computer and get in queue 2 hours before you get off. You get home -> you're logged in.

Server for employed people? That'd be retail.

Lol.
In all seriousness, like many before me; The Nost realms are more up your alley, as they don't have queues anymore.

Use team viewer to logon a few hours before you get home. problem solved.

No, you can't to know how many hours you will need to wait. You can just skip your login and then wait another queue for longer time.
