Horde is more growing then Alliance?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys.

I just started an allycharacter on elysium and im asking if it maked sense. Everyday im checking the serverstatus und the horde is procentual growing more and more. Today we are at 57% horde. What do you think? Its better to start a hordecharacter instead of continueing the ally?

I'm on Ally as well and this has also been a concern of mine.. honestly I think if we roll Horde it'll just add to the problem, I hope it doesn't get more imbalanced,
ROLL ALLIANCE PEOPLE!!

Alliance is better in PVE at the moment right? How is it in Battleground? Winrate between Horde and Alliance? Anyone can say?

It makes no diffrence which faction you choose, the lak of waiting at lvling to many quests ( respawn/waiting of questnpcs, ganking) denies the % of diffrence.

The server is full , which you choose isnt relevant , there will be more than enough raids and bg's in future!

And winrates in bg's has nothing compare with factionpopulations ;)

Its the same thing on anathema, just the other way around. My guess is that the Alliance on Anathema went Horde this time around.

We'll see if pvp will be as one sided(or should I say dead lol) as it is in Anathema I guess! :D

I'm seriously considering rerolling Horde only because it's currently almost impossible to progress after level 30 because every area is 80% horde and everyone kills on sight, and there isn't really anything I can do to fight back as long as the enemy is even remotely competent because of Paladins shit damage and arsenal. It's getting on my nerves.

i now have a character on horde and a character on alliance and i can honestly say, horde at lvl 30 feels the same way, alliance camping me over and over, its just how it is, both sides that happens.  apparently theres more 60s on alliance side as well, which is interesting, the horde side only has more players in the lvl 1-10 range

That is interesting. A friend of mine has both a Horde and Alliance at around level 30 and he said the opposite, that he's had a much easier time as Horde and such things as kill on sight and camping wasn't as frequent. But I guess then that might be because of other circumstances.

Honestly it depends on the zone and time of day, and maybe the horde has it slightly easier because they just like to camp places but i just got camped on my horde toon for the past hour so i mean, either way LOL.

Really no difference , the % of ally/horde pop moves around depending on the actual pop online. At pop 1-6k their is 57% horde but when its 6k-10/11k then it balances out to 50/53% horde.Counting the afks and stuff makes really no difference.

Hi, the poppulation balance is 10horde-1alliance (when the theme is most balanced)

Say the horde peopple have ganking troubles is pure hippocrsy and lies.

In The alliance of nostalrius with the alli was impossible leveling in shome parts of the world. With the horde (darta lv50) i onli recived 4 ganks, counted, and 3 of them was the same roge.

Now in elysium the situation is impossible, the leveling zones are infested of horde (problems of the poppulation balanced) the 80% of them are in partys and kill every alliance than tehy seen. Maybe they no gank anyone, but 1 2 3 4 5 partys do the same all the time. Before true, the skulls gankers never are too far.

The boat from booty bay for examle, today have a party of 5 skulls killing all alliance when the boats left the docks.

In resume you can arrive gadgetan earlyer if you go swiming from Darnassus, beacause is impossible  coss thousand needels and salt dessert. 1 level in two days. and i only kill one tiger in more than two hours in stranglethorn.

Sorry for my bad english

No its not, not even close... Alliance aren't roaming the world, pain training at level 46 "just because". Alliance is grinding 60 and dungeon crawling so they can do MC. Horde get to 40 and find out what a mount is and think its cool to go around and gank people 12 levels lower than them.

You just don't see as many alliance because they are busy doing things that are worthy of someone's time.

Almost all the hardcores rolled alliance this time because that faction did a bit better on old Nost. There's like 10 times as many high-level alliance. Alliance players have nothing to worry about, I'm not sure there's one single established high-end guild on horde right now. Basically all the old power crews went alliance to capitalize on the power of paladins in PvE and premades.

Try going to Blackrock Mountain right now. There'll be 20+ alliance milling about and not a horde in sight because they can barely get into the area. It's pretty bad being a 60 horde at the moment, it's hard to get anything done. If alliance is outnumbered in the lower levels, it's because half of them are already 55+. I've seen several horde groups fall apart today because they just can't get into BRM.

I'm a bit with Larsen on this. I'm only 52, but the higher I get the less horde I see.

Too me it seems that it goes in waves. Like in Blasted Lands, the horrible quests to get vulture, basiliscs and so on. For 5 min its completly overrun by horde killing every Alliance in sight, then its 5 min of Alliance completly ruling the area killing the horde, then all over again. Also at 50+, if u get attacked by some mofo undead mage while questing u can be sure a bunch of Alliance will come nuking them out of the zone very soon, while I probably havent seen 10 lv60 horde yet and only 2 attacked me.  A rogue for the lulz I guess, and a druid that tried to destroy our quest in Badlands but failed and died in shame.

Overall I Think horde is more going for red is dead while leveling, while Alliance want to get to 60 and what I've seen will leave horde alone as long as they dont want the same questmob and then we will take revenge on all horde that tries to get thru last 5 levels.

I got a feeling that blackrock mountain will be 1 hellhole on raidnights.

So, on Zeth I can say I see more gank squads from alliance than anything else. On a typical day in Ashenvale ill see 2-3 groups of 4-5 allys camping the road. I will not say this is always the case, I have seen and been a part of a few groups counter ganking in Hillsbrad - where oddly enough it seems Horde typically dominate. Both sides are ganking.

Also I see more ?? and Skull Allys ganking then I see outleveled hordies in a zone. QQ moar

The problem is that most contested territories are completely overcrowded by Horde: all resp spots are occupied by 3-5 or even more hordies and even an assembled group of allies will be overrun by zergrush. STV, 1k Needles, Desolace, Badlands, Alterac, Arathi, Hillsbrad are under horde control entirely.

The only solution I see is to grind dungeons or mobs near alliance camps.

Basically there are as much hordies in contested territories as allies in starting zones.

60 pvp goes grizzly premade > horde prem>Horde pug >alliance prem>alliance pug.

Hopefully the vigor/praise/demise raid alliance can loot some BREs and faceroll horde with gear since tactically it seems out of the question

I'm really considering rerolling horde, hit level 37 on my human warrior, and quest areas are usually jam packed with 3-10 horde, not all of them KoS, but it just takes one to initiate it and you're done, and stuck, especially as a warrior with no speed increase. Tried Desolace, which is by far the best, aside from Kodo Graveyard, Arathi Highlands areas usually have you outnumbered by 3-8, Alterac is around 2-3, and stranglethorn vale, well, lets just not talk about that. I don't care about the server being unbalanced, I dont even mind being ganked, being unable to even leave an area is what is bothering me, leveling is not an enjoyable thing at all at this point.

ROFL you're high. That combo pug guild won't be anything worth considering for a long time until they can individually do their own raids like GRIZZLY. And clear as fast.

This situation is entirely the fault of the Alliance.  There is an insane mentality I see represented in hotspot gank zones - people don't want to get ganked, but they don't want to sync up quests and move as 5 mans, either.

Alliance players usually want to drop group the instant their objectives are complete, imagining somehow that they're being more efficient zipping to the next objective, where a couple Horde are generally waiting to mow them down.

Time spent getting people on the same page, quest-wise, is nearly always time well spent.  I moved through the first half of STV in one session by just collecting 4 randos, suggesting we sync up, and then re-doing a couple quests for them.  I traded about forty minutes of my time and saved about three hours of mental anguish.  I moved farther and faster than any rugged individualist would have by deliberately choosing to work with others.
