Making money as a 60 Druid with no profs

Hi,

 

I am a 60 Druid and spend 95% of my day in Battlegrounds. I feel not having an epic mount is costing me in some situations and I would like to know if anyone here has any gold making tactics for druids with no professions? 

 

Perhaps some sort of instances / stealth?

if you have r10 gear and lbrs weapon you can go solo maraudon 3 bosses

You can solo farm a lot of shit as Druid. If you pick up Skinning, you can skin what you kill at the same time. If you had leveled Alchemy, there is a daily transmute cooldown that can be used to make gold in various ways. Without professions, get ready to grind, a lot!

i was a bit drunk when i was typing that

with a decent set of blue gear from instances you should be fine soloing maraudon

Skinning: extra free loot, even possible in cat/bear form.

Herbalism: great too, because you can pick up herbs in travel form.

 

These professions can be done by the way, while farming mobs/dungeons.

Do AV quests and make decent gold while pvping

Do you have a tanking set? Two options:

1) DME jump runs. Either find a geared healer to duo or form a pug trio. Ideally you'd want mining to be able to reserve the thorium veins though.

2) Strat Live. Tanks aren't easy to find so you can claim some number of the orb drops.

Those are probably your best GPH options.

Mara Pincess, Rotgrip, and Tinker farm is easy and fast money. You can cap out the instance reset this way. Or just farm DMN bugs.

In which case he needs to LEARN SOME.  Two gathering professions (herbalism or mining, plus skinning) ought to work just fine as a cash flow generator via Vendors and the Auction House.

I used to do herbalism + mining as druid, it does make ton of money, just have to remember to switch the tracking and try to remember some spots, but yeah picking up two gathering profs and finding good spots for gathering + farming some stuff.. what do you need the money for? I would say as druid your advantages in wild/travel/soothe/etc make you good in the wild, out of instances that are also more often indoors, so a druid who wants to make money can be efficient gatherer
