Lorilay 12 Report post Posted March 7, 2017 Because it's clear some active accounts are still hoarding some war effort supplies, I would suggest that if an item needs to be completed by the staff in order to start the Gates of AQ event, then they should delete all instances of that item on the server. This would help provide an incentive to contribute to the war effort.

qbradq 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2017 (edited) This is a terrible suggestion. If someone wants to horde Purple Lotus and doesn't want to contribute it to the War Effort that's their prerogative. It will not block the war effort. It may slow things down if someone wants to farm all the Copper they possibly can and trash it. On most servers you can just corpse camp them and problem solved. On Darrowshire we don't have enough A-holes to completely block the war effort. Edited March 7, 2017 by qbradq
smokeit 26 Report post Posted March 7, 2017 Can you guys please keep hoarding items and not delivering them for the war effort? Just until Zeth'Kur is also at patch 1.9 in the timeline.

Forest_ 40 Report post Posted March 7, 2017 1 hour ago, Ickus said: They just need to lower ridiculous items like firebloom I have to second this. Firebloom is THE mage herb for the best fire consume in the game, which will be the new main spec going forward. Even if the server has 2,000,000 Firebloom stacked up 99% of mages aren't going to give up a 35g a stack item for 75 rep or a 1.5g vendor green. This is the equivalent of asking Alliance only to turn in 425,000 elemental earth. A useful upcoming consume is almost never going to get finished. Don't jump the gun yet though, lets wait a few weeks and see what starts happening to mats as others complete.

Working for a greater cause, other than personal wealth, would probably benefit them even more, in the long run. But hey - it is your server. It is your mages. It is your grind session. Working for a greater cause, other than personal wealth, would probably benefit them even more, in the long run. But hey - it is your server. It is your mages. It is your grind session. It isn't an issue of greed, I spent a lot of time farming up an absolutely stupid amount of Elemental Earth because I knew they would be virtually unobtainable once AQ was out (pretty accurate atm). Players are smart, they know what patch influences what items and consumables and plan for the future. If I was a mage and had 2000 Firebloom stacked up that I spent over a year farming or buying do you really think I'd want to give those up and relinquish myself to another 1000 hours of farming just to get back to where I was? To put it simply, it was a bit of an error for the materials to be scaled off of what was already available on the server for pricey/hard to farm consumables. We will just have to get out in the world and farm those items slowly but surely over the next month or so to get it done. Also I'm under the impression that once certain materials are completed and the "light at the end of the tunnel" gets more visible people MIGHT be more willing to turn in a fraction of their stock piled materials, but certainly not all of them.

Except most players are wrongly knowledgeable and still think they will be able and required to use greater firepower elixir in AQ. Only a 1 hour weap enchant oil and oils of immo req Firebloom atm. You certainly do not need 2k Firebloom in your vault for AQ. This is just pure greed, don't make it appear otherwise.
