Orchyd 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2017 I'll try and make this succinct. I was running a Strat UD with this paladin, a hunter, mage and warlock. Eye of Flame drops. No one needs it so a few players roll greed. The rest of the players agree to roll greed so everyone has a shot. Coragon then exposes himself as a shady twat, rolls need and proceeds to log off in fear. I would recommend adding him to your blacklist. Screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/J71Ra And for the inevitable minority who think he did nothing wrong or are eager to blame us for not rolling need, please save your breath and fuck off. You have poor character and your opinion means nothing to me. This post is for the benefit of honest players.
Hurricane2 2 Report post Posted March 8, 2017 And for a whopping 20g item. At least we know not group with him now. The worst part of that isn't the ninja loot, it's the fact he logged out and you have to end the run or waste time finding a replacement.

TTL 6 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) THIS IS EXACTLY WHY YOU NEED ROLL EXPENSIVE DROPS! Doh, you just welcomed the ninja. Edited March 9, 2017 by TTL
Amfiketo 1 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 Just a friendly reminder. If you are horde, put him in you KoS (Kill on sight) list. I never ever backstab or camp people in open world but will always make an exception for a ninja :) Remember, ninjas are on both sides, help us punish them.

Because you still don't see that this problem wouldn't appear in the first place if everyone just rolled need? So you roll Greed which basically means "I don't really need it", and then make a forum thread over this thing... meh. Amfiketo 1 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 @Oakenlix 4 out of 5 people in the group (in other words 80%) think differently. I like that everyone can have their own opinion. Mine is that people with your way of thinking are cancer in game as in real life. But hey, it's a free world, that's why there are KoS list after all. If you can't be above things in a game i imagine what kind of person you should be IRL.

Amfiketo 1 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 Acting like a douche is usually profitable only in short-term (unless you are surrounded by masochists). :) Some people don't understand in their entire life that being short-sighted is not worth it. The only benefit for them having such mentality is they probably can't realize it at all. That's like being stupid/dead, it's not hard for you, it's hard for those around you..

Amfiketo 1 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 My opinion is that people who f*ck up they comrades (the other group members) by using the "Need" option being before "Greed" are douches. From all i've seen around in the forum, you think they did nothing wrong. That's how i built up my opinion of you, 'cause according to your words, you obvoiusly act like them. You should realize that such a greedy behavior can't be benefical for the community in any way. Approving it can't be benefical either. But in the end we all choose how to act. I wish you all the parties you get to be with people who think your way. Also I wish the same for me.

From all i've seen around in the forum, you think they did nothing wrong. But that's not reaĺly true, it depends on situation. For example, if everyone rolled Need on a BoE and someone complains and calls the winner a ninja - then yeah, he did nothing wrong at all, he won the roll. On the other hand, this paladin here is clearly a cowardly asshole. But the group let him do what he did, and he wouldn't be able to snatch it if everyone rolled Need, wouldn't that be better? Anyway, if you literally claim you don't need an item, why complain about not getting it?

Amfiketo 1 Report post Posted March 9, 2017 (edited) You need it, to sell it - that's the definition of greed, that's why you choose the option "Greed". That paladin pulled a d*ck move. If the game was designed according to your logic, there would be only two options and they would be called: "Roll" and "Pass", so the players wouldn't have the option to choose between "Need" and "Greed". It's up to us as community to punish such a behavior if we don't support it (like me). That's what i would like to spread. The KoS addons are really helpful and the more people use them, the bigger impact they will have. For example: if i ever have the option to f*ck up that toon (i'm horde), i will do it. Orchyd 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) 14 hours ago, Razors Edge said: i mean the part when they agreed to all roll greed they all should roll need on that shit to avoid this I didn't really think to take a picture of that. DIdn't think it was really relevant. I mean it's pretty evident from the shot of the pictures of him being the only need roller, other group members expressing their surprise and him logging off at the same time. Someone made a pretty pre-emptive roll of greed roll before any words were spoken, so then it was agreed that we should all roll greed so he got a chance to win too. lineupofpeace 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2017 If no one needs it you should have all agreed to roll Need, not Greed, thereby preventing this from happening lmao
