Polymorph griefing

So i tagged this devilsaur in un'goro and was attempting to kill it but this mage just kept polymorphing it to prevent it from dying because he didn't get the tag himself.
Is this allowed? Is it enough for a temp/perm ban?

You must be new in da hood :D in this case you are supposed to call a whole raid to kill that devilsaur and override sheep healing or some bullshit like that according to gms

Depends on what class you are there are several ways to prevent it. 

Myself as rogue when I smell it coming i equip Silent Fang ( 1.6 attack speed sword from Scholo), put up rapture on devilsaur and time in hemorhhage to hit at the same time his sheep is going off. He is very lucky if he can even get one hp regen tick on devilsaur. High attack speed, timing of abilities and dots are your friends here.

Solid plan.  Nothing short of a dead devilsaur.

But it is kind of fucked up, that we have to accept polymorphing, from our own faction.

Imagine if it started happening on Darrowshire.   There'd be no way to retaliate.

Even though, we have 1.12 talents right now which is not blizz-like. It's like they pick and choose what they want to be blizz-like, but the single most obvious form of same faction griefing, is totally cool. If you truly say it's "blizz-like", you're a dumb parrot, and probably stupid if you actually think that's an intended use of polymorph.

It's amazing how people don't realize that people were MASSIVE FUCKING DICKHEADS in Vanilla. Why would that have changed 12 years later :)

one of the things we love vanilla for is these little niiches classes have. Mages polymorph to piss off people, griefing priests with mindcontrol, hunters wiping people with FD, warlock summoning people to fall into void :D cmon i have all those classes and enjoy the fuck out of those abilities. OOOH and the best one summoning infernals and doomguards in xroads.... even you as lowbie enjoy that scene when there is 5 doomguards wiping everyone there including 60s comming to help just to realize they cant take on doomguards alone.

Vanilla is also about these little niches some people enjoy. Griefing as long as its within the rules (no doomguards in starter zones etc.) its fine by most people. Some might rabble about it but in the end all you want is your little safe space am i not right?

there is a simple way to fix this if they make same faction harrasment legal to protect their special snowflakes then harass the shit out of this server make it unable to play for everyone

you know sheeping important mobs for days and stuff like that have fun :) they allowed it

just pick players and harass them enough to start a shit storm

It's a breach of etiquette for sure, but ultimately falls into the category of "would create more problems than it solves" were the rules changed to prohibit this.

as i said you need to fight it with their own weapons they obviously dont recignize the problem that same faction grieving creates if just a small group of jerks is doing it so the whole server should become toxic maybe that helps to wake some people up
