What Can I Do To Play This Game By Myself & Offline?

Hey guys, 

What would I have to tweak in the Elysium Wow folder to play by myself and offline? I tried setting the realmlist.wtf to 127.0.0.1 but it won't connect. 

 

What steps must I take?

You'd have to host your own server on your home network and connect to that via your client.

Unless you have:

• A reasonable knowledge of compiling the core.
• A computer that is sitting idle to host it on.
• The willingness to play on a deployed core that isn't really finely polished and tuned.

Actually to clear a few things up:

You don't need to know how to compile the core, there are lots of repacks out there that have everything setup for you already.

You can run the servers and play on the same pc easily if you plan to play by yourself offline.

Hello, what if mount in fly for classic world of warcrat game in't a fantasy. What if changing form of mounts to character with dragons or something else and change his from movement to swimming. Safe from hacking and first fly in classic world of warcraft game.

There are many legitimate reasons to have your own server!

Using a local clone of Elysium you can test and reproduce bugs and write fixes for them. Some people use local servers to test gear that they don't have.

It is fun to mess around on such servers just to test items and try out content you might never see otherwise. I seem to remember this pack " Jeutie's Blizzlike Repack " being rather good and easy to set up although it is 3.3.5 . I'm sure there are good vanilla versions around as well.

I had one with xp rate at 0.1 and drop rates of white items at 0.1 too, it was fun took me some hours to get to level 8 or 9 ^^

You can do a lot of things like up the aggro range, the flee time and the range mobs seek for help, i upped the health and damages of mobs too, was really fun ^^

Yeah I'll admit it, I'm spreading lies here.

You don't have to have a computer to host it on, you can connect to thin air.

And its not difficult at all to set up, in fact, its just been passively waiting on you since the beginning of time.

Moreover, there are no run-time or scripting issues. I don't know why Elysium doesn't use this method, or Nostalrius before it.

I'll try to refrain from spreading my deliberate misinformation.

A lot of players that I have seen in game recently sit there killing key NPCs apart of quests 

I could see why someone would want to play by themselves

Some come to a private server thinking they can do whatever they want

 

At OP report any problems if that's why you want to play offline

Also, you can use it to test things out for certain classes at certain levels, with certain gear/items.

To test shit I suppose. Attack tables, formulas, proc-rates etc. Stuff that is "harder" to test on live servers.

So. You are going to level a character and then do the searing gorge questline alone as the only player on a server? hahhaahh give me a break.

You'll probably give yourself martin fury and fuck around (which I could get why someone would host a server for himself alone, to fuck around). Not to actually level and do some lameass stuff for only yourself. Might as well log in to single player retailcraft.
