Hunter weapons...

So as a Hunter, every LBRS run I've been on it seems that it's perfectly acceptable for a rogue/warr (including the tank) to roll need on Blackcrow, which is the best ranged option for a Hunter unless you want to spend 300+ gold. 

However, every rogue/fury warr goes insane if you roll for Dal Rend's. Is there something I'm missing?

As a rogue; Keep your filthy huntard hands off our pretty dual wield swords. They are useless for you.

We can use that bow for its stats. I personally won't run LBRS with a hunter for this reason, I wouldn't like to take blackcrow from a hunter but I would from anyone else.

So 50 attack power and +1% crit is useless for a Hunter? This is the exact mentality I'm referring to. We need the stats on Dal'Rend's as much as you need the stats on Blackcrow. 

I would never think to roll on Dal'Rend's over a rogue who needed it, but then again I never expected every rogue to roll on Blackcrow when I needed it. And yet hunters are the ones with who get hated on...

Get a group with mainly casters, reserve crow for yourself. I see plenty of crow reserved runs. Casters dont need it and happily go along with you.

Does logic not exist? So every rogue that want's Dal'Rends should make their own UBRS groups and reserve them. 

I ended up farming Mara a few times and buying the Arcanite Rifle because I got tired of getting outrolled on Blackcrow by the tank or rogue. Just thought this was interesting since it's my class that gets all the hate for rolling on weapons needed by other classes.

I still remember a hunter taking the sword from AQ back in the day from my rogue. DKP for the win... NOT!  

Oh, and I never completed my del'rends set and Perditions NEVER drop for me. =(

Because hunters do shit damage with any weapon. It is literally a waste of gear.

As a hunter myself, live with it. They need the hit% too for their DPS. And it's not the absolute pre-bis choice weapon, there are other options (it is free though. And free roll need for those that need to use it).

Personally, got myself a DHC for 300g. Much better.

You're not gonna find better weapons as a hunter till ZG when you can get the fang and war blade, when everyone else has weapon upgrades long before that in MC, Ony, BWL... even brd(ironfoe). Don't stress about it.

Remember that when hunters roll on dal'rends cos they are some of the best weaps in game atm, 50AP and crit with 15 agi ench.. untill 25 agi on 2H comes out, some would argue they are close to Bis when hit capped, but thats debatable. (i would personally pref 2x assassination blades with 15 agi)

 

i would pass on dal'rends if there was a melle in the group who needed, but thats just me... if you dont work like that, then you have to accept when other ppl take your gear.

Dal'Rend is pre-BIS for Hunters. Dal'Rend is pre-BIS for Rogues (Beside epics like Ironfoe/Felstriker)

Blackcrow is pre-BIS for Hunters. Blackcrow is pre-BIS for Rogues.

You dont understand.

Melee weapons are nothing but statsticks for hunters. Melee NEEDS them to actually do any sorts of DPS.
Rogues/warriors need the bow for the +hit rating. That's why it's fair that we roll on it. Would be cool if you could pass but I don't mind reserving it.

Lol @ Crown of Destruction comment.

Warriors want it cause it's for PVP. Same for hunters, since your PvE helm comes from Onyxia, but their PVE helm (Lionheart) is a few hundred gold to craft.

So the moral of the story, going by your logic, you are stealing Blackcrow from melee dps, since spending hundreds of gold for 1 pre-BiS is expected.  Warriors should by making Lionheart, then you should be farming for DHC.

So you don't need Blackcrow.  #HunterNinja
