I have a feeling that the new numbers are still going to be too high, and the auto complete is basically their deadline to get AQ finished. Who knows how many weeks from now it'll auto-complete.

This Wednesday, 10 AM Server time, we will be taking the realms down for standard maintenance, and applying changes to Anathema's war effort. 

After further discussion and consulting with staff and players, updated War Effort completion numbers will be implemented alongside an auto-completion system.

Considering you guys broke the deadline in probably 90% of the countries again, I kinda expected a bit more to be honest.

 

No new amounts yet. No % given on the auto completion. Feels like nothing has really been done the last week :(

Why not just fix it with 2x numbers on each materials ? Something closer to how it was.

Auto-completion is a super bad custom idea. It just feels like you're gonna keep some numbers super high but say "all is well" since you add auto-completion and it remains as delayed as possible ??

Now people wont turn it because it will auto complete anyway even if it takes longer, woud have been better off just lowering the number and not telling anyone that there is some sort of automatic progress, nobody woud notice if there are 600 of that and 1000 of this added over a day everday :D

Social justice warriors league fuck off. Stop defending them on this, its a big mess and many broken deadlines for simple thing as cutting WE numbers down which takes 15 minutes to patch in including server restart. 

War efforts with blizzlike numbers was fun because you could farm 2-3% on some resources alone and saw the difference. Here you cpuld farm all day and aftet turnin number moved by 0.1%=not fun.

There is a few small things you are missing, starting with the drama with "NOPE attitude" (==buahuahua, despite-of-farming-and-stockpiling-shitloads-in-advance-I-can't-get-my-whole-guild-riding-the-bug-so-we-ragequit), and ending with the fact that We're here only because they (Ely team) are kind enough to PROVIDE this for us, making ppl demanding thing X or thing Y 'cause "we deserve XxX 'cause it was that way in 2006-" look like a bunch of brainless morons. 

Defending? nope, we're NOT defending Ely on anything, 'cause there is nothing to be defended.

you do realize this statement "blizz like" is false in all aspects they "try to make it blizzlike" but if it truely was blizzlike the numbers would stay exactly the same as it was in retail , So instead of crying for days on end farm farm farm get it done maybe giving your shitty character some purpose in the game a goal to aim towards , the world is so use to "instant gratification" its fucking sickening 0 work ethic, in my opinion they embodied the "grind" that vanilla use to be perfectly giving you something to aim for and achieve.

So WHAT if it took ages at least you know that your time would be well worth it for that black scarab at the end if you are so inclined to do it , I Can guarantee you there are a lot of people that aren't even bothering farming for the event as they just want to wait for the AQ release and then complain about the "numbers" on the forum.

Once again take some pride in farming for something , something to do in-game while they prep AQ so that it isnt FILLED and Riddled with bugs and errors.

Saying as in you farmed something. Past 3 weeks i did nothing else except raid pvp and farm. So far i turned in maybe 500 stacks of mats purple lotus, cloth, raptor steaks and after 1400 of raptor steaks which took me week to farm number did not move. Which in turn make the whole effort pointless because numbers were set on some imaginary number of stacked materials.

I dont think you went out of your way to farm anything and just turned in what you had probably. Finishing war efforts had nothing to do with mount which someone who has an idea knows that its a whole different grind after war efforts.

It is fun and new for many players who never experienced vanilla, they just made it unfun becuase they set numbers so no single person has any impact when turning in hundreds of stacks which back in 2006 would be from 2-3% up to 10%.
