Horde Camping Alliance towns

Hi, everyone!

Looking forward to being flamed hard here but I'm certainly getting tired of this situation. I have just been killed twice trying to get on a boat at Menthil, twice on the boat and then another time while in Theramore by the horde. Now I understand this is a PVP server and I should grow up/get over it, however, this is wildly excessive. I cannot simply move my character safely through alliance cities and towns without being griefed and camped at flight masters. I understand Horde don't want to make premades to fight alliance premades, and they are bad at pvp so they camp alliance 3v1 when we fly into zones but it's just beyond a joke now. I mean we put up with DM and BRM but this is really too much.

 

Something needs to be done regarding the huge overpopulation on horde who want to PVP. Maybe you could add more guards in our cities, or make them elite and very hard to escape from (i never have this problem IN goblin cities, yes they camp the FM outside sometimes, however). I understand they need something to do with during the excessive bg queue times, maybe that's their fault for rolling horde when we could all see a population imbalance from day one. Maybe its my fault for rolling alliance and just having to deal with this but if we all rolled horde there would be no1 to fight anymore. 

 

I'm also a big fan of making us honorless targets in these areas. Would love to see the entire dire maul zone PVE even just for a day. 

 

We really are over this, it's a joke and please do something about it. Horde simply acts like assholes and there's no other way to put it.

 PS I'm sure you're sick of these posts, it can't have been the first and doubt it will be the last :)

First of all... look at the population horde out number alliance. So, expect to see horde everywhere and in most cases you can't travel 100 feet without running into 1 or 2+ horde.

Second if you are being attacked in cities, on boats welcome to world pvp, call out for help. Stop venturing out alone, maybe? Just last night I was on my 49 shaman in searing gorge and I watched 3/4 horde camp the road from thorium point to brm and alliance kept moving in 1 at a time. Why? if you know there are horde there? 

Third welcome to a pvp server. pvp happens and it has nothing to do with "you guys suck at bgs, so you take it out on lowbies or world pvp". In vanilla world pvp is the best part of the game. 

I have a lv30 dwarf priest and I swear that I can't walk 100 feet w/o running in horde same levels or higher. The other day Im out at Stonetalon Mountain ganking lv24+ horde and soon after a lv60 mage came out and killed me. I can't even complete the harpies quest out there because of how many hordes are in the area. I ask in general if anyone is around and wants to group up and there is hardly anyone around to team up with. So, I then switch back to my horde toon.

They need to allow faction transfers, it's the only viable solution to reducing BG queues. It would be in everyones best interest too. Horde players don't have to wait in queue all day and alliance can actually venture out into the open world for a change.

Most likely never going to happen. It really isn't that hard to level a new character. Start today and you too could have a fresh 60 in less than a month!

There's no issue here and nothing needs to be addressed.  Except that you should probably be on a PvE server.

I can't believe you actually think it's bad thing that there are lots of horde players looking for pvp.  That's a good thing not a bad thing.

The only joke is you and your post about wanting less PvP on a PvP server.

@Concepticon, what you're asking is as silly as horde players asking for additional honor on BGs for their side due to the vast amount of premades on Alliance.

This is a Blizzlike server. The guards should be just as the guards was in vanilla. If you feel that something has to be done, then you have 1 option and that is to play on the PvE realm.

Adding to this... why doesn't the horde honestly find something more organized or better to do. It is rather sad you keep ganking at alliance flight paths 3 vs. 1. Like really sad... like do you have a life LOL?

Well I guess that's true (I personally didn't play vanilla and don't know how it was by personal experience). The high population may require some minor tweak to make the game playable and fun (like adjusting herb spawn rates etc) but to adjust or add/remove core mechanics (in my opinion) is crossing a line and taking it too far. But I truly hate this mentality some people have when they get ganked on a freaking pvp server and they KNOW it have a high population and demand changes. Changes, on a Vanilla server? Fackdatshieeeeeat. Vanilla is suppose to hurt. The slower and more frustrating it is the better!!!

And your point is what exactly? Do you claim a person can't know facts about history without experience it in person? Also if anything it makes my stance even stronger. I never got to experience vanilla wow retail so it's extra important for a player like me that it's as close of a copy as possible. I also have pretty strong argument against people who claim "it's only nostalgia"...

That statement is just simply not true for the majority of players. I understand for some of you this is easy and I am kinda jealous of your situations but just keep in mind most adults don't have 160 hours of free time available in a single month to spend sitting in front of their computer screen. Faction change is the only solution I can think of for this problem.
