Tubbylul 1 Report post Posted April 24, 2017 Yo, so simply LF tips, how did the fresh 60s deal with the horde ganking squad in world pvp. They have completely swarmed both Searing G and Burning Stepps + killing gray alliance on sight. Not been in any other zone off my level yet. But I am out off quests. Am I supposed to sit in dungeons from 47-60 since autistic horde rankers can't win vs any premade on alliance side? Even doh the best alliance premades already stop ranking? (During honor weekend horde still gank in world pvp all the time). Any tips are welcome / history on how you did 47-60 fast with all the hordes roaming.
csant 3 Report post Posted April 24, 2017 you guys need realized while it sucks, it is part of the game that A LOT of people love. World pvp anywhere and everywhere and if there is not some has to be created. If that means killing greys to attract 60's so be it. I understand how hard it can be to level when every 100 feet you run into a horde or two. my lv30 priest has been parked in stonetalon mountain trying to finish the harpy quest for a while now.
riplip 2 Report post Posted April 24, 2017 How did we do it? It took pure grit.
Hurricane2 2 Report post Posted April 24, 2017 Searing gorge is the only one you need to avoid. Tanaris, un'goro, burning steppes, blasted lands and western plaguelands are all good spots for your level.
Ashocck 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2017 Well, I'd tell u but then certain horde players would get additional info, so I won't be specific. Let's just say that there are certain areas where you can get some quests done and also get some grinding in. WPL is ok in the low 50s. Just be aware that the FP is const antly ganked. You will be ganked in other areas there, but not constantly. Felwood is not too bad for questing. Burning Steppes is real bad, or at least it was bad before DM opened, might be better now, not sure. Searing Gorge, ditto. A particular area in Tanaris is good for grinding, almost never any horde there. So is a particular area in Feralas, but that was before DM. Once you get ti 52-53, Winterspring is not too bad either. Un'Garo is surprisingly not horrible and there are lots of quests, just have some patience. Most of the ganking occurs at Marshalls refuge actually. Now, EPL you should forget completely, it is teaming with scumbags who want to wear your face as a mask, trust me Finally, I leveled from 58 to 60 on..... umm, just Google highest lvl Ogres in vanilla and you'll find the place. I guess that's too much info there but oh well. Just prepare for lots of grinding and deaths, but you can make it. Maybe.
Shmigy429 1 Report post Posted April 24, 2017 Blasted Lands?
Ashocck 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2017 Blasted Lands has moderate ganking and is doable. Make sure you get the killing quests from the 2 Belfs. If you dont, its not worth it.

Garun 9 Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Those 2 zones are suicide to level in mainly since they are both bordering Blackrock Mountain, which holds 3 pre-raid instances and MC.
mookiejookie 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Anyone else geek out when "factions at war" start to mimic the patterns of real world behavior? I think its cool. "Avoid this!" "Don't go there!". Shits just fun to me.
Tronco 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Get lots of consumables, clear bag space, go to the most isolated place with mobs your level and kill em like there's no tomorrow

I got ahead of 80% of the playerbase by grinding nonstop and hit level 60 in the middle of week 2. You're in a dire situation, i reccomend literally living in dungeons until you hit 55~ ish, or if you know the ultra-secret grinding spots and are playing a decent class, to simply do your grind there instead, once you hit 55 find 4 reliable people, preferably guildmates, and just spam BRD all day, hell take any run that comes your way, be it regular run, quest run or lava run, they all give nice exp as long as you clear it fast.
Hurricane2 2 Report post Posted April 26, 2017 I've leveled 2 alliance chars to 60 and I got a late start on Elysium. In searing gorge and felwood I had some minor problems getting ganked. All this dire situation and go hide in isolated areas is nonsense. Just go to zones appropriate for your level and if you happen to be in a zone where the opposing faction has a raid going for wpvp then go to one of the other 4 or 5 zones good for your level.
Masteridley 3 Report post Posted April 26, 2017 I focused on grinding mobs in blasted lands and azshara (also there are a few quests). You will still get ganked but its completely manageable. Unguro was surprisingly tame as well outside of picking up / turning in quests in the main camp. Burning steppes / searing gorge / Plague lands are all cancer I avoided those as much as possible. I also sat in /world chat to keep an eye out for groups for Mara or ST. Even if it's not the best XP and I didn't need any drops I would do it to break up the monotony of grinding the same mobs all day in the open world. The nice thing about instances is you don't have to fight for mobs or deal with gankers for a few hours.
