TBC Update & Restoring 2017 Characters!

I have literally been checking everyday for an update as well. Could we get any kind of time frame on when we could see this happen?

Well i was gonna come back and play. took a break during all that stupid drama but i come back and all my characters are gone, and yall are still debating on weather or not you will let me have them back? Like seriously? Gotta be honest if you don't merge them then i won;t be playing cause i put a lot of work into my main in particular to just have it taken away like that. I mean i honestly might as well just wait for blizzard's classic server even if it takes another 2 years to come out.

They did allow people to play on their characters under the old realms merged into one, no one was interested, so they shut it down.

This. Peak server at the time after Nighthaven launch was something like 300 users. Literally unplayable.

Well, since they have said restoring characters is in the works, you have no point, just wait for it like the rest of us, Im waiting on 2 60s myself.

The difference is, I just returned and im playing new characters until then.

Hello again, Elysium team!

 

Just an opinion: I support the previous message that there should probably be an update on the status of character restoration/merge process - the sooner, the better.

One of the possible reasons for Stratholme's extremely low server population was the abscence of any real information/updates when needed, which in turn has effectively dispersed the playerbase. 

So, it would definitely be a good idea to keep in touch with the players who hope to get their old characters back, and to provide some prospect. :)

If you didn't transfer your Nost character during the 2-3 day window that transfers were available, then it's gone for good.

 But i wasnt even able to do that its is total unfair and sthing must be done about this issue.

For 4 days i was trying to retrieve my toon and all i was seeing was a green page with error 404.

So after all this time and effort i couldnt start lvling again i didnt have free time and above all i have a family of my own.

I still believe it ia total unfair and i think that sthing must be done.

I dont know check my account (and the rst of the people hacing the same prob)see that i got the characters i say and make me 1 with the same lvl and class even naked.

They are gms they can do it and i dont think this would be unfair towards other players.

And most of all i dont think this would hurt the realm on the contrary the benefit of so many returning people would be huge

Im sorry for all this "whinning"guys

Its just that i put so much effort and i want to play again my fav game but

I just dont have so much free time now to start from scrath.

It's just not possible to restore characters from other realms like that. Everyone here has started over at level 1 in November 2017.

I mean you're complaining to the wrong people, Nost was a completely different realm and this happened nearly 2 years ago mate. The transfers they offered at the time was a courtesy. 

Their developers are gone now and so is the realm. Nothing can be done.

I have a question. I restored characters from Anathema to Elysium, but Elysium was taken down due to lack of interest. Now, when you implement this character restore, is it going to restore automatically or do you have to go to the main page one the website and choose each character that you want to restore. I'm using the same account on Nighthaven that I was using on Elysium, and I don't want to overwrite characters accidentally.

I saw the Twitter post, and have a question, are you only merging the ole PVP server? My characters were on the PVE server.

The PVP characters I had are lowBs I really dont care about.

OK, I did some research, and Darrowshire is the PVE you seem to be planning on mergine, so Ill be happy if my warlock and Shaman reappear!

Correct, Darrowshire was the PVE server and you will see those characters appear if you are using the same account on Nighthaven.

No characters will be over-written, but name changes will be forced for those who continued on with the same character names.

so what if someone had a stupid 58 shaman (old nost toon) in anathema and 3 ally lvl60s in Darrowshire one holding all his gold flasks Jujus etc etc

the second all his arcanite arcane crystals and BS materials and and the third with herbs + some 35lvl enchanter with DE materials

 

how is the transfer going to work how the gold and materials alowed to be transfered will work is it going to be a flat amount of gold and consumables alowed per acount or per caracter and before somone yells about breaking the economy etc etc somone may see 100 arcanite bars as gold but somone else will see them as a helmet and a very cool weapon that is just mising some extra materials

 

i know i should be happy that our characters are not lost and personaly i don't care a lot if i lose half my gold since i know how to farm it back til tbc is out

what scares me is tranfering all this into a pvp server and losing the oportunity to transfer  to a pve server you may decide to open in the future or some scrub filling up new acounts  with lvl 1 alts to reserve names before  transfer hapends not to offer to sell the names back since you will have a reason to ban him but just to troll ppl

and me ending up playing a gnome called Bob

I hope you can get all of your stuff, but they restricted items and gold for a reason.
